Manage


  • User Setting
    • Change Password: Allows the LM user to change the login password
    • View Detail Window Option: Allows the LM user to change how viewing project information in detail format
      • Display project detail in a separate (pop-up) window
      • Display project detail in the current window

        NOTE: Useful if pop-up blocker is preventing project detail window from opening

    • Set reminder default days: This option sends an email reminder when Bid Dates, Bid Walk-Thru and Mandatory Pre-Bid Meetings are present within a project. The default setting is zero (0) and the reminder email is sent on the morning the day of the event. Note: This functionality only works when a project is saved in PT and the Calendar/ Email Reminder option is selected

 

Manage – Master User

LM accounts have the capability of being enabled with two (2) sub user accounts per edition subscribed. When enabled with Sub Users the account is referred to as a Lead Manager Master Account.


  • User Setting (see functions available above)
  • Manage Sub Users:
    • Add / Edit / Update / Delete Sub User Accounts
    • Enable Plans Online (POL) to Sub User Accounts (if Master is POL Enabled)
    • View Sub User Login Report
    • Create / Copy Saved Searches to Sub User Accounts
    • Save / Copy Projects to Sub User Project Tracker (PT)
  • Sub Users Login Report:

    • The following information is displayed:
      • Sub User Account: Login ID – Sub User First Name / Sub User Last Name
      • Last Login: Last Login Date
      • Number of Logins: Total number of logins to date by Sub User

 

SEARCH RESULTS – BRIEF MODE


COLUMNS FOR:

  • Checkboxes: Check “All” to select all projects on page OR check box(es) to:

    NOTE: Multiple Cities indicates project will encompass multiple cities

  • County/Independent City: Indicates County OR Independent City where project is located
  • State: Indicates State where project is located
  • E-Plans: Indicates whether OR

  • View/Viewed: Click to project details OR indicates when a project has been
  • PT: Click to track project(s) in Project Tracker (PT) OR displays if tracked in PT and/or saved in Calendar
  • PS: Click to screen project(s) from search results OR displays if already screened

    NOTE: selecting to Screen a project only prevents the project from posting in New & Updated Only search results and is not screened from posting in any other search results

  • Print: Click to print project(s)

 

GO TO PAGE & SORT RESULTS BY


  • Go to Page: Enter page number and click go to advance to a different page
  • Sort Results By: by default projects are sorted in search results by Bid Date ascending then Last Published Date descending in order to show projects bidding from the current date forward and to show the newly updated projects first. Search results can be re-sorted by:
    • New Jobs: Ascending (NEW First) / Descending (NEW Last)
    • Public/Private: Ascending (PRIVATE First) / Descending (PUBLIC First)
    • Bid Date: Ascending / Descending
    • Title: Ascending (A-Z) / Descending (Z-A)
    • Value: Ascending (Lower-Higher Values) / Descending (Higher-Lower Values)
    • Bid Stage: Ascending/Descending
    • City: Ascending (A-Z) / Descending (Z-A)
    • County: Ascending (A-Z) / Descending (Z-A)
    • State: Ascending (A-Z) / Descending (Z-A)
    • Plans: Ascending (Plans-Addendum-Status-No Plans) / Descending (No Plans-Status-Addendum-Plans)
    • View/Viewed: Ascending (Viewed-View) / Descending (View-Viewed)
    • Track/Tracked: Ascending (Tracked-Track) / Descending (Track-Tracked)
    • Screen/Screened: Ascending (Screened-Screen) / Descending (Screen-Screened)

 

REFINE YOUR SEARCH

 


 

  • Hide: Hides/Collapses “Refine Your Search” and “Plan Specification OCR Search” to display more projects in search results
  • Projects Keyword: enter keywords to locate words or phrases in project data only

  • Contacts Keyword: enter keywords to locate words or phrases in company names or contact information only

    NOTE: Perform either a Project Keyword OR Contact Keyword search NOT both!

  • Open: Displays/Expands Hides/Collapses “Refine Your Search” and “Plan Specification OCR Search” when hidden in order to access and use

 

PLAN SPECIFICATION OCR SEARCH

 

  • Hide: Hides/Collapses “Refine Your Search” and “Plan Specification OCR Search” to display more projects in search results
  • OCR Keyword: Enter keywords to locate specifications where they appear
  • Saved Search: Lists any previously saved OCR Searches
  • Delete: Deletes a saved OCR Search
  • Search: Searches a new or saved OCR Search
  • Save: Saves a new OCR search
  • Open: Displays/Expands Hides/Collapses “Refine Your Search” and “Plan Specification OCR Search” when hidden in order to access and use

 

SEARCH RESULTS – DETAIL MODE


  • Checkbox: Check to OR
  • Click:

    to view all search results in brief mode
  • Plans Available Icon:
    Click to view the plans for a project (if subscribed) or to purchase the plans for a project (in not subscribed)

    NOTE:
    clicking the Plans Available icon for a project to view, download and/or purchase a set of plans for a project does not add the contractor as a plan holder and does not assure a contractor may bid a project

  • PT Track Icon: Click to track project in Project Tracker
  • Email Icon:
    Click to open a window to email a project with a brief note
  • PS Screen Icon: Click to screen project in search results
  • NOTE: selecting to Screen a project only prevents the project from posting in New & Updated Only search results and is not screened from posting in any other search results
  • Print: Click to print the project details
  • Project Info Request (PIR): Click to submit the following requests to CDC Editorial:
    • Be added to the bidder’s list

      NOTE: sending a PIR asking to be added to the bidder’s list on a project does not assure a contractor may bid a project.

    • Get the latest bidder’s list
    • Get the bid results
    • Be removed from bidder’s list
  • Map: Click to view a project site location map provided by MapQuest
  • Public/Private Icon: indicates whether a project is either Public or Private
  • CDCNews Job ID #: All jobs numbers are unique and consist of a 2-letter prefix which indicates the specific Editorial office which entered the project followed by a space then a 1-letter and 9-digit ID.

    EXAMPLE: AL Y052800242 indicates the following:

    • AL: Entered by the Pelham, AL Editorial office
    • Y: Year Entered is 2013 (V=2010; W=2011; X=2012, Y=2013, Z=2014 etc.)
    • 0528: Month/Day (mm/dd) entered) March 21
    • 00242: The 242nd project entered on 05/28/2013
  • Bid Stage: Indicates which bid stage the project is currently posted
  • Construction Type(s): Indicates the construction type(s) of the project
    • New Construction
    • Renovation
    • Alteration
    • Addition
  • Project Title
  • Location
  • Estimated Amount (if provided)
  • Contracting Method
  • Update (if any)
  • Bids Due/Date
  • Scope (if any)
  • Project Contacts
    • Owner
    • Architect, Design Builder (DB), Construction Manager (CM), Etc.
    • Engineer
    • Printer

NOTE: Clicking a contact hyperlink displays and/or permits the following information and actions:

  • All projects the contact is currently listed on (last 90-days) in LM
  • View contact profile
  • Add to Address Book
  • Track contact in Contact Tracker

  • Division(s): Lists division(s) 1 – 49 that will occur on the project
  • Notes (if any): Lists any special notes for the project
  • Plans (if any): Lists where plans may be acquired and if there are any costs involved
  • Pre-Bid Meeting / Walk-Thru (if any): Lists where and when a pre-bid meeting or walk-thru will occur and if it is required

    Industry Type(s): Clicking the hyperlink displays all projects in that Industry Type in the LM user’s coverage area

  • Industry Sub-Type(s): Clicking the hyperlink displays all projects in that Industry Sub-Type in the LM users coverage area
  • Plan Holders / Selected Bidders / Mandatory Pre-Bid Attendees / Interested Suppliers: Lists all contacts involved with a project when provided by the project contacts or added by means of a PIR request

  • All projects the contact is currently listed on (last 90-days) in LM
  • View contact profile
  • Add to Address Book
  • Track contact in Contact Tracker
  • First Reported: Indicates when the project was first reported and followed by CDCNews Editorial
  • First Published: Indicates when the project was first published in LM
  • Last Published: Indicates when the project was last updated in LM
  • Copyright: All CDCNews project information is copyrighted and may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or distributed
